Backstory Though born in Jiaju, China, Jingyu knows almost nothing of the country or the small town. He only remembers his family. His parents, also Kitsunes of Kasai, left Nirverum to go into hiding- reasons unknown to the naive child. Their attempt to disappear had failed almost immediately as they were followed, getting cornered in their newfound home. Without much choice, Jingyu's father had to defend his family to which his child strongly opposed to, offering to help despite their young age of 8. In the midst of the fight, his father began to grow weak, and so Jingyu took matters into his own hands, striking without much thought. Without noticing, he had killed his own father, devastating his mother. Everything after that was a blur; the next thing he knew, he was 18 and living in Nirverum. Only one thing had stuck to him: "You're a jinx, Jingyu."

Personality Jinx likes to think he's complicated, and maybe he is. But really, he's just like most people— he wants to fit in. As an introverted kid, they didn't have much friends growing up, and so they learned that they had to speak up to actually form bonds. So, he tries, but of course, their social battery drains easily (thus the frequent naps.) Though he is shy, they do enjoy teasing and joking around with others, may they be older than him or not. The kid is mischievous, and this doesn't pair nicely with his short temper, though he has been learning to control it these days. In short, Jinx can be complicated, maybe, but he's still a soft kid at heart. It just takes a little effort to get there.
